This theme is one the Lord has been putting on my heart lately. I am slowly reading through Dallas Willard’s “Renovation of the Heart” and it really brings to focus the importance and hope of personal inward transformation, to become more like Jesus.
In what ways are you growing and being stretched to be more like Him?
Both my wife and I are grateful for the spirited leadership you and Heidi exude as leaders of New Life church Everett, WA. Your current sermon series, This Is Home, presents a great perspective of togetherness and inclusion no matter who you are and where you come from, and, we’re all a work in progress.
Thank you
Thank you Lynn. Yes, we are all growing together. And we are helping each other and cheering each other on. Praying for you!
Matt, I appreciate your relatable examples, your thoughtful usage of Scripture, and your focus not only on righteousness or morality, but also the further step of personal transformation. Thank you for being a true teacher of God’s Word.
Thank you Eric. That is really encouraging. Hopefully we all can make forwards progress, even if it is slow at times.
